Caparo is commencing its forging operations in India at Sriperumbudur near Chennai, by setting up a Greenfield project for the production of forgings and machined components for various automotive and non-automotive applications. Additionally, Caparo India is in process of setting up state-of-the-art machining facilities for Crankshafts, Connecting Rods and other components.

Caparo Group is already a leading player in this domain, with group companies like Clydesdale Forge in UK. The Group has two manufacturing sites in UK at Hartlepool and Dudley and a heavy forgings manufacturing site in Poland.
