UHMWPE Rods (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) belongs to the family of polyethylenes and polyolefins. It stands out for its very low density, very good sliding properties and at the same time high toughness.

UHMWPE is a highly durable, cost-efficient, and versatile material with superior impact and chemical resistance.

Because of the toughness, extermely low coefficient of friction, and inherent lubricity, UHMWPE is ideal for applications where high levels of friction are likely to arise.

The long term servcie termperature for UHMWPE ranges between -250 deg C and approximately + 80 deg C.
