Description
Sampling unit is connected to molasses conditioner or sugar melter with necessary fixing arrangement. Brix sensor installed at distance “h”. It represents the head in inches of water column for which the brix transmitters adjusted (or conductivity type brix sensor), for example, the brix measuring column is filled with water or liquor at zero degree brix. The pressure produced on the brix sensor (pressure transmitter) will be the same as the density of molasses or liquor. Brix controller compares the measured brix with set brix & controls the molasses- diluting valve. In second loop, temp of the brix is measured & controlled by simple temp control system. It senses brix temp & controls steam valve.
