Description

It is the hardest seal face material with excellent abrasion resistance, high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of friction. It also retains its strength at temperatures as high as 1400 deg.C and offers excellent wear resistance and thermal shock resistance.

Alpha Sintered SSiC is resistant to corrosion of all chemicals.

However RB-SiSiC it is NOT suitable for use in the highly alkaline media (like caustic and hydrofluoric acid) as it can get corroded (that is for liquid with pH value >10 )
