Description
A white, yellowish-white or grayish-white powder or granules, hygroscopic after drying. It is a cellulose ether, which is based on methyl cellulose. It has several properties in pharma and construction industries.

MHEC & HEC both are water soluble cellulose ethers. We have MHEC for Construction Industry. MHEC is the only cellulose derivative which has best water retention property due to high degree of 'METHOXYLATION' & that is the sole reason for which MHEC is sold for Cement based Wall Putties as well as Mortars. MHEC is also used in Cement based Tile adhesives & Grouts. HEC has properties of thickening, pseudoplastic properties, water retention, protective colloid effects, film forming and a high level of salt tolerance best suited for industry. In short HEC is the BEST RHEOLOGY MODIFIER for water based paints and MHEC is the BEST WATER RETAINING AGENT for construction industry.
