MAXIMUX-AI-16 and MAXIMUX-AI-32 are part of Lectrotek I/O modules for interfacing industrial/field inputs and outputs to PLC-based control systems.

These microprocessor based I/O interfacing products are innovative in terms application versatility, compactness and cost-effectiveness and offer value-for-money to clients looking
for low cost automation.
The MAXMUX-AO-… 16/32 accept respectively 16 or 32 analog 4-20mA inputs, and multiplex the same to transmit the data over RS-485 serial port to external PLCs, DCS, PC-based and other control systems.

The inputs have a load resistance of 100 ohms each. These can be addressed for readingtheir value, using Modbus-RTU standard protocol, for which register address are provided.The enclosure is ABS engg. plastic, for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting, in size 100 x 75 x 110 mm (WHD).
• 16 or 32 channels, 4-20 mA DC inputs.• Input load resistance 200 ohms.• Power supply 24VDC.• RS-485 serial port, Modbus-RTU protocol commands.• Wiring by screwed terminals, suitable for 1.5mm² wires• Interfaces with PLC systems over other protocols using  appropriate protocol converters.• Field interface module for PLC, DCS etc. control systems.• Advantages of using Maximux I/O modules:- Save cost of wiring involved with centralized I/O systems- Maximux I/O modules offer economy over PLC I/Os.- Low cost PC-based SCADA & industrial automation.
