Description
ZEALAC GA is a polymeric alloy offering versatile quality of a sealant that has universal application as a GASKET FORMER as well as highly resilient sealant. The ready to use one part sealant dries to a tough resilient profile in a very short time at room temperature and anchors on to all Ferrous and Non ferrous metals including Plastics, Asphalt equally on polar and non polar substrates. The product viscosity is set to free flowing consistency that allows easy flow from the ready to use convenient nozzle bottle. The viscosity can be set in accordance with the user's specification depending on the area of use.
Temperature Resistivity: ZEALAC GA can sustain a continuous service temperature of -500C to + 5000C. under pressure of 100 mbar.
Solubility: The dried Profile/ Gasket after a 24 hours set time is totally insoluble in Oil, Petrol, Grease, Kerosene, Lubricants, Steam, Brine, Mild Acids, Alkali and Refrigerants. The solubility factor stands good even when submerged in oil or petrol. The gasket formed in-between flanged joints will not dislodge or get disintegrated even when subjected to boiling hot oil

Method of Application: Surface preparation: for optimum results the flanged joint, the mating surfaces must preferably be machined to a smooth finish and made free from loose flaking particles. In case the sealant is being used in conjunction with an existing gasket where the joint is not machined, careful evaluation of the gasket must be undertaken as in many cases the plasticizer in the rubber gasket may migrate on the surface and impair bond.
