Industrial RO System
What is Reverse Osmosis? Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water treatment process in which water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that has very small holes or "pores". Clean water passes through and impurities that are too big to pass through the membrane are left behind and flushed away. In a word, it is a machine to make pure/ultra pure water. How Reverse Osmosis Works ? Reverse osmosis process uses semi permeable spiral wound membranes to separate and remove dissolved solids, organic, inorganic, sub micron colloidal matter ,bacteria and viruses from water. Feed water is delivered under a pressure of approximately 6-20 kg/cm2 through reverse osmosis membranes. Water permeates the minute pores of the membrane and is delivered as purified water. Impurities in the water are concentrated in the reject stream and flushed to drain. Reverse osmosis is capable of removing 90-99% of total dissolved solids (TDS) , Organics and Inorganic impurities What Does RO Removes and what can pass ?
