The DOMO nHance MGNT20 is a set of Neodymium Ring Magnet and Ferrite Magnet for Google Cardboard Virtual Reality Headsets. They are perfect for hobbyists who want to build their own virtual reality headsets. It is intended as an input for your phone while the smartphone is inside the headset. By moving the magnet around, the magnetic field interacts with the magnetometer of the smartphone and the VR Software Application running on the phone can interpret this as input, like the flip of a switch. It never actually interacts with your touch screen, its just that whenever it slides and slips back in its groove the phone detects this and thinks of it as an input event to select the option shown in the application. The size of the Ferrite Magnet is 20*3(mm) and the Neodymium Magnet Ring measures 18*10*2(mm).
