BOSS 395 FOOD-GRADE INDUSTRIAL SEALANT
DescriptionBOSS 395 Non-Corrosive, Food-Grade IndustrialSilicone is a high-performance, one-component adhesive/sealant formulated for industrial and electricalapplications. BOSS® 395 remains permanently flexibleand exhibits excellent adhesion to a wide variety ofsubstrates.
BOSS® 395 is ideal for sealing and bonding in HVAC,clean rooms and cold storage manufacturing and forgasketing application in gear box, engine and otherindustrial application. It has good resistance to gasoline,engine oil, gear oil & water. It is also suitable for sealingapplications in Food and Pharmaceutical units.

How to useApplying the material-BOSS® 395 Industrial silicone issupplied ready-to-use. Under pressure, it flows readilyfrom its container. The paste-like consistency makes iteasy to work; a spatula or wooden paddle can be usedfor tooling the surface. The cure progresses inwardfrom the surface. At conditions of at least 72°F (22°C)and 50percent relative humidity, the sealant forms atack-free skin in 30 minutes. Tooling is not practicalafter this skin begins forming, and should be completedwithin 5-10 minutes of application, even though thismay require alternate periods of applying and tooling.Likewise, if masking tape has been used to mark off anarea, it should be removed before the skin forms.
